What was Kennealy's? PDF E-mail

For those of you reading this who never came to Kennealy's Pub, and don't know anything about it, let me explain.

Kennealy's was a small Irish pub in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis. It was a haven for artists, poets, dreamers and especially musicians, which explains why it never was much of a success. But in a city where good music was being ignored in favor of cover bands and DJs, it was a breath of fresh air. I'm not going to go into a lot of history here, I'll leave that for another article, or for someone else to write. Suffice it to say, I miss the place, I miss the people, I even miss the drama that often abounded at the place.
